Looks good. Putting one together can be a challenge. I found the directions were less than clear.

I wasn't talking about the equipment tech info when I was asking about specs. I was talking about read/write times, average motherboard mhertz, etc

Why did you choose the cards and boards that you selected to tie it all together? You know that you can put a Ferrari engine in a hotrod, but if you don’t have the heavy duty tranny or the right tires, it just sits there and a VW out runs it


Please share why you chose these components

With the help of TigerDirect, I bought nearly $1,000 worth of parts and used several older parts like the power supply and drives, etc. It runs to my satisfaction. Any problems I've had was software problems. I bet my Saturn Vue will outrun your Ferrari though. Last year I kept up with a Corvette running nose to nose.

If you would spend that much on a project, why would you go with an I5 processor rather than an I7?
