Welcome to Day 183 :) It's a brand new month and the second half of our year long challenge. Today it's all about Birds. Any kind of birds... with or without feathers .. if it has wings .. it counts. With the possible exception of panty liners .. but we won't go there hahaha.
I am posting the list just incase anybody missed it yesterday. Here are a few of the birds I found... I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

Sherry...that OWL close up should be on the cover of audobon mag or National geo or somewhere...that is an excellent capture. Im not kidding..you need to research some mags and see who will give you some $$$ for it.

I got this red white and blue bird yesterday

B irds, my favourite topic but I am trying to stay away from my archives and find some recent fresh pictures.
I saw a Pileated Woodpecker this morning on a hydro pole as is the one in the included picture, taken at Yard sale about a week ago.
Crows, We have lots of them but I really like this picture of one taking off from the top of our Tamarack Tree.
And a catbird, we always seem to have them hanging around our backyard at this time of year. They are attracted by our wild roses.

This tree swallow is still in its boxnest, I think it should have fledged by now

As long as it has wings? I know butterflies are not birds but these have been my focus for the past few days, and I love taking butterfly pictures.. First a monarch butterfly, next a couple of white admirals and lastly a tattered tiger swallowtail.

Fred Ann, I know about your passion for birds and nature, and once again you demonstrated it...A pic on a pole, ehhhhhhh? THAT is neat..
