Anyone use Walgreens for premium lay flat photo books?

I really miss MyPublisher. I liked their 15X11.5 lay flat photo books. I have about 12 volumes done over the years on the same subjects. I can't find a good replacement. Adoramapix seems expensive. Mixbook doesn't offer lay flat in its largest book as far as I can tell. Shutterfly seems the best option when they have one of their 50% off sales. I was buying MyPublisher books with 100 pages. It seems most limit premium lay-flat books to 90 or 91 pages, which I can live with.

To the quick: who has used the premium lay flat books produced by Walgreens? I am thinking particularly of the the 11X14 size though quality of smaller sizes would be relevant. I was paying about $150-160 for MyPublisher books and I would like to stay within that range or lower. These books are strictly for my pleasure so I do not need perfection - just close to it for that amount of money.

Thanks?

Adoramapix has lots of sales, so I wait, if possible. I did a 50-page book for $66, not sure if there was a discount. I did another for $80 with a 24% discount - not sure of the page count.

I looked through a book a friend had done at Costco of his African Safari. It was a very nice book!

Blurb is also offering lay-flat photo books.

Sure, these books lay flat and look good but no one ever comments on whether they are sharp, have good accurate color, and are faithful reproductions of the photos.

I had several copies done to commemorate my mother at her funeral 3 years ago. The cover of the book was washed out although I couldn't complain about the inside photos. They weren't bad. Still, I wasn't happy so I had some, not all redone at my own expense. They wouldn't give an inch.

Here's a comparison of the book cover on the left and my proof photo on the right. The vendor was Presto photo.

If I were doing this again, I would order one first and make sure I was happy with it before ordering quantities.

I have 2 books done by "Blurb" and they matched the color of the slides the pictures came from. Very easy to set up using their templates. Quick turn-around and great color, and price. They have sales most of the time for a good savings. One book was from our last trip to the 4 corners area, 242 pages, with over 300 photos.

I've used Walgreens for other books and they have always been nice.
