Hi David, Welcome to the forum. If your introduction title and screen name indicate where you live I'd like to ask you a question. How are the fall colors progressing in the mountains. I live a couple of hours away and was thinking of making a photo day trip this week.

As of right now, terrible. Hardly any good colors this year. Falling leave are very drab. I haven't been around a whole lot due to mother in law getting ready to pass, but have great views of the mountains. Just don't seem right this year.

Thanks David for your answer about the fall colors. I've been up there this time of year for the last 3 years and it's been great. I suspected there may be a problem this year because of weather conditions and the recent storm in the gulf that was said to have an effect on the mountains. Oh, well, it always worth a trip for the waterfalls alone!
