My camera, like everyone else's here, does video along with stills; I like doing both. for my birthday last month my brother sent me a Roxant stabilizer rig. I've seen some of the sample videos made by folks who've bought one of these and learned how to use it; it does make quite a difference in quality. There's the rub, though: learning how to use it! I'm having a heck of a time getting it balanced right, but I'll get it done eventually. Have any fellow UHH'ers used the Roxant 1-A, and if so did you catch on quick or did it drive you nuts for awhile? The attached photo is not mine, it's for illustration purposes only.
Not everyone else’s camera does video.

Yes, I've seen several of these stabilizers, even DIY. I hate it when I have to learn something.
I shot some video over the weekend, and I could have used that stabilizer.
Good luck with the rig. Did you look for youtube videos about it? I never shoot video without a tripod (the ultimate stabilizer).

You're right; I shouldn't have generalized.

I'll sure put mine to good use (eventually).

Call the manufacturer!
Well, I didn't call them, but I did send an e-mail; got a very nice reply, too, along with a free low-profile handle (for my GoPro) and a spare mounting nut.

Thanks! And there's actually a whole lot of videos about the rig on Youtube, many of them posted by the Roxant folks themselves. There's no lack of support there and I've got no complaints. I understand what I have to do; it's just finding those elusive balancing points. It doesn't help that my bridge camera has its tripod mounting hole off-center. Well, if I keep fiddling with it, eventually I'll hit on the right settings and will "be in business".
