Do you use the more expensive Elite version or is the Essential version meeting your needs? DO you use it for basic corrections other than noise instead of Lightroom?

I use DXO sometimes, the elite version. I use Lr for it's decent raw conversion and excellent organizational capabilities. When I encounter an image that might be a good subject for DXO I import the image into Lr, then, using DXO's plugin, export the raw image to DXO, then do what I need in DXO, and export the image back to Lr and ultimately to PS and/or On1 for putting the finishing touches.

I do the same as Gene51 except for the Photoshop step. /Ralph

The reason I do the final editing is to make the local adjustments and corrections that are not really possible in raw conversion, like dodging and burning and frequency separation when doing a head shot retouch, and final noise reduction and output sharpening.
