I just received an acrylic print I ordered from Mpix. It took my breath away. It was pricey, but it is beautiful. It was either the acrylic one or they also have one on wood. Both are new to Mpix. I wasn't sure about how my photo would look printed on wood so I went with the acrylic one.

Thank you. I don't want anyone to think I was bragging on my image, just wanted to put out there how nice the acrylic is.

Tracy, a sin, you cloistered your photo that we would love to see and did not tell us all how to get our own Acrylic Photo!! Rather than ruin my printer putting Acrylic paint in the carts and trying to run 1/4" plastic thru my printer.. well, I looked up... and found... https://www.mpixpro.com/Catalog.aspx/acrylicprints

Why do you think Acrylic prints are "nice"... describe why you like it... Please??

Additionally, I learned about the "French Cleat Mount" for heavy works of art part of the mpix Acrylic print package. https://blog.mosaicartsupply.com/how-to-make-french-cleat-wall-mounts/

Am I giving you a poke in the ribs... well a little... but really, I would like to know the virtues of Acrylic from your prospective vs the superlatives of the ads.

LOL Well, I believe, in my case the Acrylic print made my photograph come to life. It was like looking at it made you feel like your were there. You could almost feel the sun.

It looks like you've posted your original image - correct me if I'm mistaken. . .

Can you post a photo of your finished acrylic print, maybe hanging on your wall?

TIA

I haven't had a chance to hang it yet. This is taken with my cell phone, but you'll get the idea.

That looks very nice. I understood that with acrylics one has the choice of front or back mount. Is that correct? If so, which did you do and why?

I believe the only choice was: French Cleat system. I think it will work well.
