For those of us who are not FB members, what is the point of this? {and what is the connection between "help" in title and "beautiful" in text??}

Point being that there are wild fires burning all over the beautiful state of Montana. I have not been there but is on my bucket list of places to see before it's my time to meet our creator. If that offends someone, get over it 😇.

There are (or were) wildfires burning all over the West. Happens every year. Some are caused naturally, some are caused by idiotic humans.

Prayers don't work. Not for states. It's against the rules. Rain dances, on the other hand.....

We don't need religion or prayers. They are ineffectual in such circumstances. We need well regulated land management, common sense, and an understanding of the wild lands and forests. We need well funded and trained fire departments, and people that responsibly manage land that is subject to wildfires.

This is simply a snap, taken from a moving vehicle yesterday in Calaveras County, two years after the Butte Fire came through. The region will never be the same again...

Do you also not watch TV or read the newspaper, Montana is on fire. That's the correlation.

Sure, but Mexico is suffering major earthquakes, the Carribean is being hammered by hurricanes, people are being buried in major landslides, on and on. All of these things are devastating and life changing. There is nothing special about Montana in that regard, and the OP admits he hasn't even set foot in the place!

Your post has nothing to do with the question that I answered. I'm well aware of the hurricanes as I just lived through Irma. You are fortunate in that the only disaster you have to live with is the huge number of idiotic liberals destroying your state.

Good for you and your myopic state of ignorant bliss. You clearly have no sense of global perspective.

Perhaps it was you that failed to recognize the bigger questions we all face and that those problems affect all of us, regardless of political associations.

Natural disasters and man made disasters pay no heed to politics or religion. We all get affected equally.

Remember that Irma, disastrous as it was, let Florida off relatively lightly, it could have been much, much worse. Fewer than 30 people died in Florida.

You weren't here idiot. You have no clue as to how bad it was, and still is. The death toll in Florida is now at 50 and could still go up, 15 million were without power, and over 100 thousand are still without power. Try going for 10 days without electricity. And then tell the people in the Keys, on Marco Island, in Naples, and in Ft Meyers where I live how much worse it could have been. you're liable to end up with a broken nose and a few loose teeth.

Never is a long time. Nature as a way of healing itself.

That is very true, but it does not return to the state that it was in previously.
