From Sunday morning on a little hike in the mountains behind our house. I am so impressed with the MFT Panasonic camera (GX85) and their lenses. These photos were taken with the Panasonic 14-140 V.II at 140mm. The first photo of the squirrel was taken in heavy shadows at a slow shutter speed, 1/40 sec., while the squirrel was switching his tail and eating. The shadows were lifted in post. Second photos was a pose in bright sun light at about 20 ft., cropped and sharpened.
Not too shabby for a modestly priced kit. Download and take a look.
I liked the first image, second one could have been sharper but a cute animal.
Yes, they are cute, and they're stocking up for winter.
They are so cute and I love the coloration of your chipmunk and the eyes on your squirrel!!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting dannie. Could have been sharper with a full frame camera on a tripod too...grab shot hand held, with a MFT kit, not bad.

Quite a few of the squirrels were out enjoying the sun on a cold 34* morning and working the pine comes over. We got snow at this location this morning...its coming!

Thanks crafter. I rarely take the time to photograph these little cuties and am glad I did that day.
