The shadow is merely the reflection of the railing. A little blurred for it was about 8 seconds handheld.

More important than any camera or gadget is the ability to " see things " . Very nice capture .

its clear to me your imagination is great - combine it with your camera tech & you will have a winner - i would have gone back and stayed there till i got it right - practice makes perfect - invest in a little tripod might help - good luck mate
