A challenge to share images you have taken using some of your In-camera effects. Share your favorites and share some tips on possible subjects that work best with effects. I have found that my camera (Sony) will only let me use the effects in jpeg. And, if you do not have these options on your camera....what are some of your favorite effects that you use....or share how you shoot to obtain certain effects.

Here are a few images using the 'watercolor' effect. I find I like certain flowers with this effect.....This first group are images I shot in 2014/15.....

What a wonderful Start Irene, I don't even know if my current camera has any Effects, I've only used the Totally Manual Settings, with the exception of Auto Focus, Av and TV.

I purchased a colour infrared camera this year and have been having a ball! When you take the picture the trees will look a strange green and the sky could be orange or dark. The first thing you have to do is use he "Channel Mixers" in Photoshop to bring them to a yellow stage. From that point on you just play with the channel mixers and Hue and Saturation, Levels, etc. until you are happy with it.

More examples. The last one had many filters, etc. I have printed and framed it for a show in November.
