I realize they are not as advanced as Nikon & Canon, but is there a Fuji equivalent to the macro kits like Those two make?

Not at this time, but I believe there are macro lighting kits from other makers that may fit your Fuji. Try checking with Fuji Rumors. And IMO, Fuji is far more advanced at this moment than Canikon.

I believe a Nisson(sp) flash will work on the Fuji Xt1 and XT2.

Thank you. I notice you have the XE2. I just got an XE2s. At this point I have only the 18-55. I am traveling to Dieppe, France in October to document the place where the Canadians landed in 1942. My goal is one camera and one lense. I think I'll go with the smaller flash.

Good choice.
Maybe all you need is a flash cord and a LiteScoop of modifier to do your close-up work.
Not sure you'd want a ring light.
They really aren't that versatile.

I did Holland, Scotland and France back in 2014 with an X-E1 and the 18-55.
I didn't take a flash at all.
I never needed anything longer.
The 18-55 is not an ordinary "kit" lens, as you probably know already.
A few times I wanted something shorter, but shot a series to stitch.
Some of the trip photos can be seen in my website at the link below.
I have a 14mmnow too...that lens is krazy sharp!
Bons voyages!

I am very impressed with the 18-55 at this point. I had heard good things about it. I'm also quite pleased with the OIS and have had some pretty decent results even shooting an interior at City Hall at 1/1.6. The other thing I've been doing is shooting in camera panoramas. A very impressive camera to this point. I love the size and weight

LRF,

FWIW

I have the XE-2 IV with the Japanese 18-55mm (I wanted that particular zoom lens and needed a camera for it ;^). I have other camera systems, so I did not think I'd need another lens ~ however, I found a near new 27mm f/2.8 "pancake for under $200. One of the better photography decisions I've made, as it converts the X-E2(S) to an X100 wannabe, in seconds, and rides around in my pocket, almost unnoticed.

I'm curious if anyone has tried the Rokinon 14/f/2.8.

Thanks
