That patent was filed in 2013? Is anything going to come of it? It looks similar to Sony's adapter for using A mount lenses on E mount cameras.

Hmm - seems like a bit of overwrought engineering to attach a lens to a mirrorless (which, parenthetically, appears to have a smaller flange size) and introduce a pellicle mirror and separate focusing system (at least that's my read on it). While Fotodiox's "DLX Stretch" adapters allow for the drop-in of ND filters, that makes sense as you can use an ND on a fisheye or ultra-wide angle lens without going to extremes to attach one, putting a focus mechanism into the "connection tube" seems a bit over the top.
