I expect a lot of Hoggers have one or more images including ladders, stairs or steps, because most photographers are tempted to capture those patterns when they spot them. So step aboard and post your answer to the challenge!

Just a few stairs and ladders. My knees hurt just thinking about some of them.

Stairs are fun, right? Actually that trail isn't all that bad.

Stairs are fun???????????????? Fun means amusing and enjoyable according to the dictionary. Must remember that when I next see a staircase lol.
I suppose trails are gut bustingly funny?

Boy, those Bali Temple stairs are pretty fancy with all those characters on either side of steps! Have never seen anything like them! Thanks for sharing, Kat!
Back later...I have bad memories from ladders....fell off a 40' one at work, luckily I was on the bottom rung
Also note spiral stairs on the left. Taken in San Antonio at The Pearl, the site of the historic Pearl Brewery. This area along the Riverwalk
has been converted to an upscale shopping/dining/hotel/condo complex. It is family/pooch friendly with a splash pad for the kids and is the site of a big farmers' market on the weekends. They have done a great job of preserving the architectural details of the buildings. Nikon D5600, 18-55 lens.
Here's my entry into the Ladders, Stairs and Steps, this unique circular staircase is in the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. You don't have to look to closely to notice that the staircase has no center post to support the steps since each step is the support for the next step. And it's not just for looks either, the Chapel has a book store that sells a history of the staircase and a photo showing the entire choir standing on the steps.
