All lovely shots. So nice to have a tame bird in the yard. The shot of Ted with the flowers is great and the roses in the hall and the flower basket pictures are my favorites.

Aha! Ted got caught sleeping on the job! I'll bet Spot was laughing up his wing while he had breakfast. Outstanding shots, Sylvia. I enjoyed them so much - especially love the roses in the hall.

Your generous comments and thumbsup are always very much appreciated Cathy so pleased you enjoyed them. He always follows us around the garden checking what we are doing, he is an old boy now so needs to take a nap now and then!! Just saw the light shining through the hall window making the roses look pretty.

I'm not sure why you eliminated everything in the first shot - it makes the bird look awkward. But since you did what you did. it would be well to have done it better. Put the work in and get rid of stuff between the toes.

We have a Blackbird who is very tame and he has a white spot on his back and he is moulting.....we call him Spot he was sitting on the roof waiting for breakfast, no clouds, flat grey sky took a quick fun shot.
Caught my garden supervisor Ted snoozing on the job.

Hope you enjoy.

oh i did enjoy all of them sylvia. spot is so cute, and he looks well fed. he had better watch out for ted though, or are they
best friends? i like both shots of spot, ted stopping to smell the flowers, and those gorgeous roses and the lilies blowing
in the wind. excellent job!

Great series, Sylvia, so many nice images. I think that shot of Spot is cool looking...a black bird surrounded by all white.

Pleased you enjoyed them Mike, always appreciate your kind comments thank you very much. I thought it was different with the white pvc blending in with the sky.

What a lovely garden, Sylvia, and Spot and Ted are both adorable!! I even love your starling visitor. They can be a bit pesky, but this one looks like he's minding his manners!

Pleased you enjoyed them Donna your kind comments are always very much appreciated. I was fortunate to get the starling by itself. We usually have 30+ in the garden at any time of day hoovering up everything I put out, even hanging on the feeders pecking at the nuts! Poor Spot has a hard time as they follow him around trying to find where I hide his food. Most days I stand there while Spot eats his fill of the meal worms, seed and dry fruit I feed him, so they stay away when I am around. They are also very partial to any left over cat food and biscuits....Spot enjoys it too! Expecting them any day now to start meowing,
