Very nice. I captured my own double rainbow while on vacation in July. Well done.

Captured on the Alpine Tundra just moments before sunset. This rainbow suddenly appeared after a deluge. I ran more than a quarter mile to get in this position as I searched for a composition. Just after I took this shot I was pelted by heavy hail (almost half inch size) and the rainbow quickly faded. I was soaked and freezing, but I like the resulting photo. I always say, bad weather makes good photos. Please view on dark background (use download)

Thanks for looking.

What a spectacular display of this planet's ability to tease us with sudden breathtaking beauty, then curtaining it with clouds, rain and hail. You did a great job of beating Nature to the draw and arresting that beautiful moment before it vanished forever. Congratulations!

Thanks for commenting Swamp-Cork. Kind of a special capture, spur of the moment but still a thrill.

That's a beautiful image. I always shoot rainbows when I see them, but I've never gotten a really good image! You did.

You just have to get lucky with rainbows. You never know, where or when. Like you, I don't have too many rainbows on file, but a few are keepers for sure.

Thanks for commenting and I appreciate the compliment.
