My First Night Out In 5 Weeks

This is the first night (lots of clouds but no rain threat) shooting in over a month. Crazy summer! This group of "hedge uppers" are putting some serious stuff up. Lots of great work by everyone! I am going to have to go back and re-read directions on how to set stuff up! For me my nights are going to be busy with sports photography starting next week. But for now, I am just enjoying getting a few images from NGC 7000 - I got some Ha 5 weeks ago.....now I am hoping to add some Oiii and Sii - we shall see.

Have a great clear sky weekend!

Looking forward to seeing some NB.

I am suppose to get my filters sometime in august, it's been a long wait. I'm also taking my mount and RASA into Celestron for service, I broke my RASA when packing for my trip. So maybe by September, I'll Start my dabbling in NB.

Mister, you need to get out more.
Glad to see you finally had a hole in the weather even if briefly.
Hope you are doing well.
Be safe during sports or I suppose High School Activity season.

Aurgh!!! Broke your RASA? How seriously?
Can't take you anywhere apparently.

When I was removing the camera, the entire lens assembly was turning. I called Celestron, they told me "do not attempt to fix it myself", so guess what...I tried anyway. Anyways, it needed to go to them either way.

Beautiful images, Ed!

Like they say in Real Estate, it's Location, Location, Location....

And, you can't change the weather.
Of course, as soon as you are back up to your tail in sports shoots, the skies will be clear as a bell....

Always works that way...

Hopefully their 'Best Tech' will get it and you'll get back a fully tuned scope back. And no more worries.
I was out for a last potty stop last night and might be able to get a nicely framed star trail framed in trees.
No matter what, everything has trees in it... The Evergreen State.
