Greetings!
I just signed up to this forum. I look forward to learning new ideas and perhaps sharing what I have discovered. My gear is a Nikon D7500 dslr with several Nikon lenses, both prime and zoom. The camera is a new addition that I am now using after a couple years of the D7200. So far I really like it. My first question is should I stay with Nikon lenses or is there quality third party lenses to consider. Thanks and look forward to any ideas and suggestions.

Welcome! Looking forward to your posts and pictures. Happy shooting!

If you can afford it, go with Nikon. I started using Sigma and Tamron for my Canon but have been slowly replacing those lenses with Canon.

Welcome! FWIW - I had good luck with Tokina and Sigma on my D7100, now I shoot Canon, Tamron and Sigma on an EOS 80D and have done well so far.

Welcome to the Forum

Lenses and cameras seem to be a matter of personal choice or depth of pocket in relation to the length of people's arms! Beyond technical specification....reviews are simply 'feelings'.

The adage 'learn to work with what you have' may be old fashioned but it still separates the men from the boys.

Have fun - you will get lots of advice here

Welcome to the UHH. A wealth of information and conversation. I have all Nikkors now but plan on a Sigma or Tamron 150-600 when the wallet gets fatter. FX lenses are usually better but remember the crop factor and $$$.
