A tiny part of my white barn is visable to the right of the brown one. Am I the only one that is annoyed by this? I might want to use this as this years christmas card.
Doesn't bother me. You could always clone it out, if you wish. A nice winter scene, Bob.
It's bright and white, which makes it eye-catching. It looks like a fairly easy clone job.
Well, now that you mention it...yes
Love the crisp, cool feel (it was 99 here yesterday, with similar for the next several days), the leading line, the framing of the barn, the textures of the wood, the shadows on the snow.
No, not at all. And to echo Linda's comment, what's that white stuff all over the place?

Pleasant scene...no distraction.
Looks like familiar, wonderful memories.
I lived in Fairfield County from '47 to '57. Where'bouts you be?

I'm in the N.E. corner of CT. right were Ct, Ma. and R.I. meet. We retired to a 30+acre sheep farm, but sheep all died cause I planted them too deep and too close together.LOL. The grandkids live in RI about 1/2 hour away- the reason why we moved

I would, today, definitely prefer your corner !

Good to see you here boberic....I would clone it away. I'll also add I would like to see more drama in this image, it's a very nice image but seems a touch dull to me and for you intent I feel it should shout out with a bit more pop...It could just be me but I think a little counterclockwise shift would straighten it.

Nope you are not the only one. But since it is your art, your opinion is the only one that really matters.
OK OK, yes, it is easily cloned out. But in addition crop is needed, after you use the straightening and prospective tools, barn is a bit off level. Crop right side... and front the barn is the story not the big tree. Clone out the um-wanted things like the big branch that is in foreground. Crop to 4x6 drugstore size and write on the back address and happy holidays to all... Yes will make a great card
Seeing this photo give me chills in our perpetual Fl heat.... I grew up in Michigan back when it was a socialist state with universal health care... via Unions, GM, Ford, & Chrysler.
PS: If you shoot from the left more you will get big area of the main roof covered with snow and that pesky behind thing will no longer be a problem.... gosh is there still snow there or has winter started early.

Frank2013 said it was a bit dull, agreed. Topaz Adjust and HDR Pop brings it to life as one would expect with light reflected off snow. If you do not have Topaz Adjust down load a 30day.

Nice card shot. If it bothers you now, it'll bother you, even more, every time you see it on a shelf or a stand somewhere. Take it out NOW!
It was fine until you mentioned it. Very nice scene. As been mentioned you can clone it out

Thanks all. I have cloned out the offending "intrusion". Not the best job in the world but in a 4x6 card it'll be OK

Here is the final version, without that annoying white barn intrusion. Thanks all for the suggestions
