Great pictures. Just got back from Kruger a couple weeks ago. The only Big Five our truck did not see was a Rhino.

Excellent photos, I would love to be able to go there myself, to drive in their environment and to be close to animals must be a wonderful, yet scary, experience. Thanks for sharing with us, love the elephants 🐘.

Lucky you. That must have been something to see all those animals in the wild. Beautiful set.

The animals are not afraid of the trucks because they think the trucks are other animals. But when you go for a walk you hardly see any animals because they all hideaway.

There was an interesting series on the BBC years ago which was about the lives of certain cats such as lions, leopards and cheetahs. The cheetahs would actually climb on top of the trucks for a better view of the area. I kinda have a soft spot for the elephants, they seem to be so family oriented in there herds.

Guide said that animals see trucks as part of the landscape. Once you start calling attention to yourself, animals (esp. lions) will focus on you and may investigate (even see you as prey).

Great shots, but they could use little PP, not shure about the type of file, my guess are the ones posted JPEG. this is your lion cleaned up. and a crop of the Big Guy.
