Well, did you try saving the picture from the email to your hard drive first? Does your printer print anything, did you add the printer driver? WHAT computer OS? Ever print anything from your setup before?

First time hooking up a printer - fully install it and all drivers and verify that the computer can print to it first - THEN you can move on to printing something you want.

I print pics from the computer all the time. During the attemp to print the e-mail pic I printed a photo, just to make sure the connection worked. But it still would not print the e-mail. BTW it wouldn't print e-mail text either. Is there a way to send e-mail pics to the pictures file?

Have you tried ctrl P or cmd P? being made for email you may find it's too low resolution to get a decent print anyway.

If the pic is integral to the email, try copying and pasting it into MS WORD. Then print from there. If it's an attachment you are referring to, that should open automatically in a graphics application.

It might depend on what email service the sender used or how they sent the photo. I run into that problem once in awhile too. Ask them to send the photo as an attachment to their email so you can open it and then print or save.
