I'm having a problem sending a photo via email on PSE 14. I keep getting a user name or password incorrect response. I've gone into the preference settings and everything looks correct. Before I contact someone from Adobe I was wondering if anyone here has had a similar problem and found a solution to it. Thanks,

Sounds like you have not provided the email client information - the password and username for your email client and carrier. If you use Outlook, Outlook Express, Apple Mail, PSE will likely find it and use it to send email. If you use a web based email service like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, etc, then you will need to set it up in Email Preferences by selecting Other and providing necessary information so that PSE can use it.

If I remember right, you use Organizer to e-mail any photos directly from the program?
Since I don't use the Organizer, I just open a new e-mail from Thunderbird (my e-mail client), then include the photo as an attachment. Or if I want to send several photos, I put them together in a folder in DropBox, then send the link to that folder to the intended recipient.
I know, that's not the information you're looking for, but until you get your user name/password issue sorted out, it might help you.

I initially had problems with Elements 14 cooperating with my Gmail account. Now it works fine from inside Organizer. Don't know what the hell happened but it works. I used to have to Export a photo to a folder for emailing and then select it in Gmail for sending.

Thanks for the help. What I was getting was a message from Google that someone had tried to access my email account using an unsecured app. It warned me not to reset to allow such apps access, but also had instructions on how to do so. When I reset it to allow unsecured apps I was able to share via email from PSE 14. I've reset it back to the secure setting, tried to send an email photo and it wouldn't go through again. At least I know what the problem was and am sharing this long-winded story in case anyone else runs into this problem. Gonna try another of my email accounts and see how that works. Thanks again.
