My new favorite tree. It was dark so don't go on about the darkness.
The tree was there in 1955, the first time I came here, the spit of land on the right was where the dock went out and the gator feeding area was to the right of that. If you did swim here you had to have a gator watcher! (honest)
This is the backwards shot of the sunset. I got one that had a perfect wave and there was a reflection on the face, of the sky. I did not post it because the horizon is tilted. It might cut out the wave when it is straightened. The Pond is round and the far shore is never right. It may be a crater also.

I like the frame, the reflection might be considered a leading line, and single subject centered. Oh yea that background!
