Connecticut? Connecticut? As in Connecticut USA?
People in Connecticut, think we all ride horses and strap on guns.
They're the ones that need the guns
Ain't that the truth.......
It wouldn't take much to get me of of CT. Been there: never again. Same with all of the northeast.

We have to put up with those people in the winter. They are rude, obnoxious, and loud.

I think you are speaking of the "big city" northeasterners. We have a lot of Mainers where I am now living. Pretty quiet folk. They, in their native land, also generally have little tolerance of loud ignoramuses who are often from Boston (I have heard the reference to "Massholes") or NYC. I was once standing in line in a grocery store in Maine when someone in the line was complaining very loudly about something and just being a jackass in general. An old Mainer standing behind him said: "Say there - what part of New York are you from?" Shut the guy up and everyone just smiled..... Years back the newspaper story reported that Billy Joel was visiting some little town near Bah Hahbah. He bought a soda, paid the 5 cent deposit, and when done, crushed the can and took it back inside. The guy behind the counter advised him that he could not return the crushed can and get his deposit back. Billy Joel said something to the effect of: "Do you know who I am"? The old guy never batted an eye and responded: "I really don't care who you are, you ain't gonna get your 5 cents back for a crushed can". Ayup.

You are correct, I should have made that clear in my post. One of our neighbors is from Maine, one of my favorite people.

Beautiful scenery, beautiful song. Visited many of those locations, and still, photos don't do it justice. Many, many beautiful places in this country for sure. My wife complains sometimes (often) about me taking the road less traveled... WHAT have you got us into now, lol.
Loved the video, thanks for sharing!
I am from Plainville, CT., and my wife is from Old Saybrook.
Though I was born and raised in Connecticut, I have southern roots. My Dad was from Rusk County, Texas, and my Mother is from Robeson County, North Carolina.
I chuckled over the masshole comment. I had never heard that one before. My wife's roots are Massachusetts. She is a Matter of the Puritan Bostonians fame (Cotton Mather). She also agrees that the Northeastern people tend to be "rude, obnoxious, and loud".
PHD Class of '67 is having the 50th reunion on September 9th, I have respectfully declined to attend.
PHS. Stupid spell correct....
I'm from Stamford. Graduated high school on Friday, Monday I was in the Navy. Never did find my way back there. Of course, I never tried either.

Still in CT, not a nice place any longer, becoming the state of entitlement, but I do take exception to the 'rude, obnoxious' comments.
Have worked in customer service
positions for many years and I and my wife have never lowered ourselves to that standard. Thank the Lord,
he has kept us on the straight and narrow. But I will agree, after working our entire working days in customer
service YEP, there are some doozies here in CT.
Y'all have a great day.
