Last week was a musical week for us (my wife sings in a choir) with rehearsals on sunday, tuesday (monday was a public holiday (Queens birthday weekend), wednesday (at the opera house) and another rehearsal followed by a concert on thursday, again at the opera house.
I had a few hours to kill on wednesday so it gave me some time free for a few snaps. Also there is a light festival about this time of the year called "vivid" where major buildings and structures are lit up.

Believe me, it has been miserable - gloomy, hot humid one day, electric blanket on the bed the next. Just this week planted our window boxes and beds. Really every bit as yucchy as seen through RR's lens.

It has been good for catching raindrops on flowers. AND Happy Father's Day to all you Fathers, Dadas, and Grampa's. We are going to breakfast with our daughter and family tomorrow joined by our son in law's parents. In the evening taking Chinese food and eat with our son at his group home. I am hungry already!
Like lupines - it was pouring buckets when I took these.

An opera house? Wow. If we had one like that up here the Rolling Stones would have done a show there
