The T-Mount is Alive and Well

I was looking at my old 1970s 90-230mm lens (Soligor, maybe), and I wondered if I could get a T-mount for my Nikon. Of course! It will arrive from Amazon tomorrow. I'll post some pictures taken with this relic. The current mount is for my Miranda Sensorex. In order to use it, I would have to buy film and then get it developed. That would cost more than the $9.95 T-mount.

I still have one or two T-mounts (the adapters not lenses) laying around.

I have a 90~230/4.5 Soligor Auto-Zoom with fixed Nikon mount. This was one of the best zooms before Vivitar introduced their Series I. I like the two-ring design, tripod mount and constant aperture.

A few years ago I bought a T-mount adapter so that I could mount macro-photography bellows onto my Nikon DSLR. As I recall, the adapter wasn't all that expensive.

I have the series 1 Vivitar bellows and would like to get the adapters both for camera body and lens for Nikon. Any ideas where I might find them. I have the Canon adapters for the bellows and would be willing to trade.

Big disappointment. It just arrived, and it is called a T-mount adapter, but there is no way to attach a lens. It has the bayonet fittings to attach it to a Nikon, but the opposite side is perfectly smooth with internal threads. I already printed the return label.

Ugh! I just saw the problem. Although I did a search for a T-4, this T-2 turned up.

Jerryc41 has a T2 adapter he doesn’t need! The lens adapter may be hard to find, but you can always get a Nikon lens to Canon adapter from one of the online sellers. It will add 4.5mm extension, no problem on your bellows.

It's the Nikon Macro Lens to Vivitar Bellows that has been impossible to find. Thanks for the reply
