Hi, I'm a photographer from mid central Wi. I have many years under my belt but have been away from the scene for awhile. I grew up on B&W and Kodachrome, having my own darkroom to process B&W. I currently have made the change to Digital, use to shoot the trusty Nikon F's and F3's. I now shoot a DX2 and LeicaM8.
If anyone wants to get together and shoot or just shoot the bull I'm all ears.
Made a living shoot travel brochures in my earlier life , corporate annual reports and that stuff. I drifted away when everyone became a photographer when things went digital. Just not the same with people seeing what the shot looks like instantly. Lots of people shot just hoping to get a good shot rather than think the process out before hand like, looking at the background, using creative focus , or changing the F stop to blur or clarify the background. Ok I'm off my soap box, if anyone has questions I'm willing to share all I know

Doc, I'm sure you will enjoy this forum. Seems as though we have a few things in common. My first pro job was with a post card co. in Wisconsin traveling the state shooting scenes for the cards. I was also born in central Wisconsin. Beautiful state. Will give you a shout next time I'm up there.
Welcome to the forum.
