Hello all!
I'm new to the world of having a DSLR, and so excited to finally have one. I'm an accountant by day, and a wife and mother of two young teens by night. My family and I enjoy camping, hiking and kayaking, and I've always been the one lagging behind try to capture that awesome photo. After a battle against Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma last year, and officially being in remission for 6 months, I decided to do something for me. So I finally bought myself the long awaited DSLR. I was hoping to find a photography class to learn all about the dials and settings, but my work schedule wouldn't line up with the one class I found at our local college. But... I do have the internet filled with forums, how-to sites and Pinterest!!
I'm attaching some of my recent photos. The rose was shot with my new camera, and the other two were taken with my iPhone 7.
