Creature from the depths arises to dominate a photo

Dogs can be great companions, but can also be detrimental to photography. I was exercising Pantera, my dog, and we came upon a leg of a creek that had some trout coming to life after a long winter. Just as I prepared to get a shot of the little buggers, Pantera decided to take a swim...and that's the reason for the photograph.

Well, you got a picture - just not the one you wanted.

If you don't want your dog to go swimming than don't have a Labrador. I could never keep my labs out of the water, it was just a fore gone conclusion that as soon as we hit water they were going to get wet. Pantera probably just wanted to go fishing anyway.

The dog is happy - that is all that matters!

Hmm, I wonder if I could train him to fish. That would cut down on my load.

Ya know, I'm not sure. The water was all muddied up and the fish were all gone when it cleared. If he did catch any, he wasn't sharing.
