It appears to be a good way of having your own personal cloud but the reviews I have read really slam the product for unreliability and very poor support from Lima.
I actually use a Western Digital "My Cloud", I bought the 2TB model which is ample for me I also have a portable 1TB hard drive attached.
It's an excellent device and can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection from your PC, phone or tablet.
As well as all my photos I also have about 20 films stored on it which I can watch wherever I am in excellent quality.
