I started taking pictures of my granddaughters soccer games when I retired in 2001. She was eight years old and I was somewhat older. I bought a Canon Power Shot Pro and started taking pictures of her games. I would take 40 or 50 pics of a game. When I got home most of them were pictures of grass; maybe a foot or hand at the edge of the frame. Over the years I upgraded my cameras and lenses and started to see a whole person (sometimes in focus). My granddaughter played her last college game this year and I am looking forward to other adventures in photography. One of my first outings was to the local park to take some pictures of anything that moved. Thanks for looking.
