Amazon doesn't stand behind third party sellers. This is likely a bait and switch where they send a cheaper camera and you can't get your money back. Part of the scam may be that they won't accept credit cards and ask you to wire money.

Many high-end items are offered like that on Amazon by 'first time sellers'. Usually with a blurb telling you to contact them before you order. What I hear is that what they will try to do is get you to directly send them payment in the form of Amazon gift cards or something.
