Your antenna looks like a vaccumm cleaner part. Ha Ha.
Did you have any luck with the NGC1893??? It looks pretty cool.

It does, doesn't it? Looks like one of those crevasse tools. But it was recommended for my particular computer as an accessory for it. But I can't argue with how it works, which is great.
But once I figured out all the wrong ways to set it up, I got the right way. We are not in Plug and Play land.
The Stick is set to use the antenna, and to connect to the router in the house. I returned the WiFi extender today, it has to "hop" the signal and that just adds delay to everything. Both the stick computer, and even the laptop if it was routed through it.
Still I need to take my laptop out for basic Alignment. It's just easier to see what's going on, do aiming when it's off, and ASPA.
But then, I can sit back and run things from inside.
Tonight I thought, "Run with it." So I did. I ran everything from inside. And it worked.
Alignment and all.
I didn't do an All Star Polar Alignment. But I am running the PEC.
I did a little revamp at the mount, used a USB3 cable for the antenna to computer, and things are quite fast now for being remote. The antenna is dual band and the Stick computer has a USB3 port I plugged it into. It's faster in responce than it was even last night. I think I can live with this now.
And for the era of my router. Running everything at the old standard 2.4 GHz, and not the newer 5 GHz. But everything we have is basically built around the older speed anyway, USB2, so I haven't convinced myself to upgrade my router. Not when I'm still happy and content with the way things are working.
I can say I am very impressed with Star Tech so far. They wanted me to provide proof of purchase to authorize an RMA. I finally got a PDF file through to them. They immediately authorized an RMA, and sent a Pre-Paid FedEx shipping label. It was gone before 9 today.
I sure miss it, the old port powered hub causes the camera to freeze up and require a restart. It's ca-ca.
So I'm back chasing NGC 1893 around (I hope). In Stellarium it shows both red, and blue nebulousity. The HA7nm should pop the red. But what is used to enhance the blue? It sure looks like a very intriguing object. I'd like to try and image it. (Damn the Moon, Full speed ahead.)
I got a first image in HA, but the camera's USB connection decided to throw a fit. So 1 step forward, and two steps back.
Lot of rocks down here at the bottom.
