Many people fail to add their location when they sign up. You don't have to fear people coming to your house and stealing all your gear or trying to sell you magazine subscriptions. I don't see any downside to posting your location, and it makes it interesting to see where our members live. You can click on "My Profile" at the top of the page and add your location or change you avatar picture.

"You don't have to fear people coming to your house and stealing all your gear"...Hmmm, that's the reason I really live in the great state of NY. And my name's really Jerry.

Don't worry Erv. If they want to, they will. LoL
How are you & Janny doing these days?
This has been going on as long as we've been on this forum. For one reason or another, some people just don't want other people to know were they live...Erv, some people wouldn't consider that a problem.

Okey, Jerryc41. I'll do that. I usually end my post with my name and where I am at the moment but if I put my resident location I won't need to do that. I just visited your website and I must say it is very impresive! The pictures are fantastic and it looks to be a beautiful area. Would love to visit there some time.

If my sort of feeble memory serves my correctly this morning there was a recent post on this same topic somewhere on UHH. It drew the usual wade array of responses. Me? I put my location down, because I am proud to live in the corn patch, I have traveled to all but two east coast states and I really "KNOW" that I live in the best part of the country. I almost always check a posters location as it ads some background to the post or picture they are sharing. For those who are scared of magazine peddlers, maybe they need to get out more, or take a confidence course.
So, that's my story.
And my name is Ken (love the UHH, it's the first place I go each morning)
