I was out cutting the new volunteers in the yard in prep for the oncoming Spring, when I noticed how busy the birds in the quince were. It appears to be blossom eating time in the fruit trees. I went back into the house and grabbed the camera. I did have time to actually do some work today as well. Well, some anyway. Enjoy.

Nice set. We have a few months yet before we see any buds popping out here in Pennsy.

Great shots but I did not know you could trim a yard with a D810, D610 or D500 - good job. chase

I thought I could trim the exposures the same time as I was whacking the weeds.

Such a beautiful set, David and would loved to see a white-crowned sparrow. I hear that there is an occasional one seen with the white-throated ones, but have yet to see any.

Beautiful shots, David. Taking photos is definitely more fun than yard work. Seeing the little blossoms lets me know that Spring is right around the corner.

They are a winter resident here. Usually leave around April.

Thank you Jane. The flowers in our yard began blooming about a month ago. The daffodils are always the first. I enjoy working in the yard, but not as much as taking pics...
