Thanks, Swamp-Cork Was about 4 feet away. I think they got a Beekeeper to come get them as killing them is illegal.

They are very "pre-occupied" at that time and are quite docile...Usually! LOL...with a bee keepers help I actually "patted" the swarm with my bare hand! Quite gently of course & only two pats...he collected the swarm with no protection by scraping them into his box!

Mustanger, Thanks for looking and your comments. Once while working--(telephone) carrying 28' ladder there was a huge swarm that passed me. I quit and went back to the truck. It was a lot different than this. Did have to go back the next day to do my work.
