Karenn Loc: Sydney Australia.

We are 3 and half hours from home and try to get here every 3 weeks/or once a month. We have recently finished building the side veranda for protection from the wind and much needed shade in Summer. We over look the Lachlan River and Wyangala Dam and spend many hours driving, exploring our beautiful countryside. The terrain is very mountainous with steep tracks to test any four wheel drive. Of course it is a great place to take photos and spend time with family and friends.

And I thought that I lived in paradise. Had no idea that Australia had so much beauty. Spent a month in Alice Springs at the 'you know what' place. Currently I live atop the BlueRidge at the easternmost tip of WVA. Hint you might make more money renting it as a getaway. And with your expertise of the area, include a guide book for photographers. It might even include guides on where the best pics are for each season.

Lucky people, enjoy the fruits of your labours. Is that a part of Australia with lots of nasty things to be wary of, or can safely doze off on the swing bed without a care in the world.

I think I want to keep it to ourselves. We do have some big groups coming for camping and the 4 x 4 driving experience. Also some photographers and shooters from time to time. But I like to get there when we can/want and depending on work we usually have 4-5 day trips at a time..

Yes the bed is usually filled with cushions but it had been raining that day. The good things out way the bad things and we haven't seen many snakes to worry us. Got some great shots of huge spiders though.
