James, love the photo. Mockingbirds are a great bird misunderstood by a lot of people, appears not you or I. Thank you for sharing.

Love the picture and makes me think even more about getting a Sony RX10M3 as my "grab & go" camera. I see it does a great job for you at the telephoto end. How does it do on the macro end? Take care & ...

I haven't tried yet...was scheduled to attend a macro workshop at the local library, but a pipe burst and the event was canceled.
This has to be the best "grab & go" I've run across and exactly why I bought one. The Zeiss lens is sharp from wide to tight and everything in between. I'm elated with the camera so far. It has the look and feel of a professionals camera.

Well not just yet, I tried HDR yesterday an failed miserably. Images were very dark, Operator error I suspect. Glad I have a book coming. I hate reading, but I'm going to have to read up in order to figure this camera out.
