LOL! It is not all that hard to learn. You should see my very first ones.:):) My grandfather taught me how to carve back when I was 6 or 7. I still need to keep the bandages handy.:):)

Hi Robert. It is coming along, but very slow. Not much energy after the stroke. But I am feeling better. The big thing is I am making it almost life size.:)

Hi Leo. I had a very good teacher, my grandfather.:) He carved the head stones for the folks that lived in his town. I was 6 or 7 when I started. You just have to start with simple things and small things. My first carving was an acorn. :):):)

Such fine work. I assume it is done in two pieces then joined. Did you wood turn the base. So lovely.
