We frequently see applications of the 'the Reductio ad Hitlerum argument' in many threads. I think it is more applicable to attribute stuff to Joseph Goebbles who masterfully honed the art of propaganda. Repeat a falsehood often enough to grow legs of truth - fake news, alternative facts are all propaganda. Say an otherwise credible news organ quotes a statement that is factually untruthful - to an extent the quote becomes 'real,' but is it? That depends on your belief system. So we read people who label citations as fact without ever bothering to read and analyse.

Brainwash our children??? That's about to start! We have a woman in charge of our public education system that has NEVER spent one day in a classroom as a teacher, THAT is a travesty. Her ONLY qualification is being a multi-millionaire born with a silver spoon whose family and her have dedicated their lives to getting people elected that want vouchers and to teach that Jesus had a baby dinosaur as a pet, by giving them hundreds of millions of dollars in support and nobody here thinks that's a conflict of interest.

Our Public Schools are dead last in the "civilized" world , so what have we got to lose??
