I'm assuming that this is a digital photo. I'm intrigued by the nearly black sky. Looks like the effect you would get with a red filter. Did you have to do anything special to get that beautiful sky? I think the photo is stunning.

Hello Erich and thank you. It is a digital photo. I darkened the blue sky in Silver Efex using the red colour filter and by pushing the cyan and blue sliders to the left. I did this to make the snowy peak contrast with the sky.

Thanks, I'm sure that is information that I will be able to put to good use. Much appreciated.

This one, printed quite large in a large room would be a show-stopper.

Looks better downloaded and enlarged. You've done well to show the ruggedness of a classic Scottish Peak.

Hello Linda. I don't know if you have seen the James Bond movie Skyfall? This is the exact place where the Scottish scenes were shot.

Wonderful tones Mr Smith, a pleasant composition. Since you did state FYC I will say at normal viewing I notice a halo going along the left side mountain. You probably know it’s there…...Interesting Skyfall fact.

Thanks Frank, I do know the halo is there and I would normally have dealt with it... but it slipped through the net
