I don't have a TV, gave up on that in about 2002. So, if I want to watch either, I have to go somewhere to do so. The Oscars are just not worth the effort. Football is, but it just depends on what I might be working on at the time.

Football is a brain-damaging game that makes millionaires of a few. It is a one-hour game that cannot be completed in three hours, so I have to set my TiVo to record an hour longer.

I haven't been to a movie theater in years. My TV works just fine. When an actor is paid $26 million for a part in a movie, something is wrong with the business plan. How many millions did Marlon Brando get for appearing for a couple of minutes in "Superman"? Meanwhile, ticket prices have become unreasonable. Remember when $1.25 got you two movies, cartoons, and newsreels? I stay home and watch pre-recorded everything.

More like ten cents. I liked the ice cream Bon Bons. I remember going to the movies when I was a kid. When I got to the window to buy a ticket, the woman asked me how old I was. "Thirteen." "You're an adult." I turned around and started for home. On my way, I stopped in a bar for a few beers and then bought a few guns at the gun shop. Ah, adulthood!

One Sunday after church I went "Times Square".
Watched 2 movies & went to NY Rangers NHL game at MSG! Only 6 teams at that time!
I had turned 18, didn't drive. Took bus and train.

Was lucky enough, decades ago to see a hockey game at the old Olympia in Detroit. They were playing the Chicago Blackhawks. It was great, Geordie Howe, Stan Mikita, Hull and Esposito just to name a few. Old time hockey at it's best.

High school kids should play the #1 sport of the future in USA. Foosball.

IT"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOAL!

Fewer injuries and stadiums in place. How many teams are already in place here in USSA?

Football is on way out in 10 years. College BASEBALL is on way out. basket stuff is for showoffs only.
Who plays stickball anymore - softball - baseball for kids?

Maybe we will get the "Leagues of their own" in all major sports.

This SB game is for the birds! Watch how injuries affect the outcome!

For the uniformed: birds are the FALCONS! Gotcha!

I will watch about 4 series of plays them come back for final 5 minutes.

I always record football games and watch them with my finger on the fast forward. Not just to zap commercials, but I can hit it after the ball is down and let off when the huddle breaks. I also fast forward through extra points, but I can rewind on the rare times they are blocked. All in all, I can watch most football games in about an hour, which saves a lot of time during the season. I usually zip through halftime also, but at the Super Bowl, I want to see what Lady Gaga comes up with.

I had to read the first post to determine what it is about - I thought the "SB" part was about my hometown. 😊

I went to watching a DVD tv series after score was 28-3. Put DVD on hold and saw Pats TD, 28-9.
Came back to see score of 28-12. Next time checking and Pats 19. Turned back to see Pats score 2pt.
Then watched the OT winning TD. All reminded me of 1951 BRK _ NYG BB playoff game.

Did not watch any 1/2 show. Heard it was great. Congrats for SB LI.
