my kids ask, have you ever been on drugs? I have to say yes. (the doctor calls it medicine)

I think the pharmaceutical industry is having a heyday! And the doctors are cashing in too! Because if they can get you on drugs then you have to come in at least once a year to get your prescription renewed. Makes me wonder if you weaned yourself off the drugs if you wouldn't feel better. Maybe even live longer! Don't get me wrong some people do have conditions that require medicine, like thyroid problems or cancer treatment, etc. But lets face it as we age it's painful 😣. I once had a coworker ask me "do you ever hurt all over?" I answered "all the time" he replied " whew! I thought something was wrong."

our prescriptions last either 3 or 6 months, not 1 year!

I am in my 80s and I do not hurt anywhere!!!!!
