Eagle fight over fish

The adult bald eagle had a fish when a juvenile soared up to try to steal it away. The close approach caused the adult to drop the fish while squawking his displeasure with the unwanted company. In the first picture the eagle has already dropped the fish. It is right by the juvenile's talons. It is plain to see in second picture.

Not sure. I do know it ended up in the river so maybe one of them or some other opportunistic eagle got it.

Great shots!! I got a shot a month or so ago of a pelican fishing at Safety Harbor, Fl. He/she had a nice catch and was sitting in the bay (Tampa Bay) while a sea gull was sitting on its bill waiting for it to open the bill. It was very comical as the pelican was trying to get the sea gull to leave it alone and the sea gull was very determined to steal the meal.
