Hidden in a small parking lot behind a San Diego surf shop. The seats were devoid of any fabric, just fully exposed springs. Reminded me of the song about the "little Nash Rambler".

Little Nash Rambler. The sunbeam was a hot car 289hp ford engine.

Nash Metroploitan, right on! I got my very first driving lesson in one of those at age 14-15.

Your right, Metropolitan. The Rambler was a little bigger.

Thanks for correctly recognizing the model. I was completely unaware of the extensive Nash history.

Nice shot, and haven't see a Metropolitan for a very long time and knew someone that owned one!

In the early 1960's the police used these in their traffic enforcement. The girl was waiting for an ambulance after being struck by a car.
The light on the roof may have looked like overkill but it may have been necessary because the car was so small. The town this was
taken in was Teaneck, New Jersey.
