I know that I'm setting myself up for some ridicule by asking this question, but are there are any SLRs that have image stabilization? I have fallen back to film for the trip that I'm currently undertaking and am finding it somewhat relaxing to be old school again even with having to waiting for film processing. I have DSLR's a plenty: Sony A57, Canon SL1, Canon point and shoot.

I'm currently shooting with 2 Minolta SLRs: 650si and QT si and a good assortment of lenses. The A-mounts will work on my A57 without any problem. The back of my mind is that I would like to do a full frame DSLR: Sony A7 ii, with the attachment for the A-mounts.

I would like to stay with the Minolta product line. Had a 400si a number of years ago and lots of lenses.

Any advice gladly accepted.

I know of no analog SLR camera that uses in body image stabilization.

What film? YOU asked for a "DSLR", I recommended the one DSLR that fulfilled your requirements. "D" means Digital.
Stabilization technology came along years after the demise of film camera development.

70, welcome to the Hog.
So, is your goal to shoot film or to shoot as old school as possible?
Why don't you move into a film camera that is NOT analogue if stabilization is important to you?
I shoot film but derive absolutely no type of zen from it being old school. I just want to get the film look for some shots or projects.
I shoot a Canon EOS 1n. It's an early pro EOS film body that uses every current lens Canon makes along with stabilized lenses. I can carry one set of lenses and share them on two bodies, one digi and one film, as needed.
The 1n has all the functions my latest digi cameras have just not as advanced since it going on 20 years old!!
Just get a film body that will use your modern lenses if they're stabilized, but if they depend on body stabilization, then you might be dead in the water!
Good luck with your quest for stabilization.
Again, welcome to the Hog!

READ. He says" In the back of my mind I would like to do a full frame DSLR: Sony A7ii with the attachment for the A mounts." That sounds like a DSLR to me.

You ask about stabilization for SLR's, and then you state that you are looking at a DSLR. Which is it? An SLR with stabilization is easy. It would be a tripod, beanbag, solid surface, etc. A DSLR with stabilization would be just about anything currently on the market.

devildancer70 - Take SS's suggestion and find a Canon EOS film body. The 1-series bodies (1n or 1v or even a 3) will be relatively large vs your SL1. Also, the EF mount might present a issue where you'll need to find one / a few lenses if you currently only have EF-S lenses. You might also look at an EOS Rebel G. This is a very striped down body with just three focus points. But, they cost anywhere from $15 to $25 used and will drive any EF lens. In terms of IS-enabled EF lenses, there are primes and zooms to chose from, some old and some relatively new. Some ideas (priced from KEH or ebay):

EF 28-135mm F/3.5-5.6 IS - about $150 used
EF 35mm F/2 IS - about $500 used
EF 24mm F/2.8 IS - about $500 used, there's also an IS 28mm version priced around $400
EF 24-105mm F/3.5-5.6 IS STM - about $425 used

Two other ideas where the size of the lens seems to add nothing to the the weight of the camera body: EF 50 f/1.8 or EF 40 f/2.8 STM pancake. All these lens ideas will also work with your SL1 so you wouldn't be buying a lens just for a film body ...

Yep; the A99II will give you almost the same image quality as the A7RII (both use the same full-frame sensor) but in addition has a dedicated autofocus sensor with lightning fast performance. It has 5 axis image stabilization allowing you to use all your Minolta AF lenses too.

Remember; Sony bought Minolta in 2006 and kept all the engineers and production facilities.

If you want a DSLR that can use the Minolta A mount and has image stabilization then the Sony A99II is it. If you want a film SLR then only Nikon and Canon have them and you have to buy the IS or VR lenses. There is no way to use the Minolta A mount lenses with a film SLR and have image stabilization because Minolta was first to have in body IS because they never had IS lenses. While I think it's possible it would be very difficult to make the film moves during exposure.

I did read that, he also stated he is back to using film and wants to know if there is a body with IS!

I asked for nothing. I know perfectly well what the D in DSLR stands for. I had no requirements. I believe we are both victims of a very poorly worded posting. The title of SLR image stabilization may be somewhat deceptive. It does appear the OP was originally asking if there are analog SLR'S with image stabilization. An interesting concept if you really think about it, but something difficult to accomplish with a continuous roll of film. The OP states having DSLR'S aplenty leaving one with the impression the gist of the posting was indeed analog SLR'S, but at one point he goes to the back of his mind and based on the entire posting, that could be a scary, disorganized place, and the direction appears to change. But, and these are the words that establish the point of the posting and the reason for my response, "are there any SLRs that have image stabilization?"; being the ONLY question in the posting, the point is now quite clear. Are there any SLRs that have image stabilization? That is the question. The rest of the posting is what Dave would like to do, but, it has nothing to do with the question, nothing.

As for DSLR, do you know what the R stands for!? Of course you do, it's your business. The A99 II is a DSLT not a DSLR.

RM, you are correct, the big Montanan was just being his usual belligerent self.
The op does have a Canon DSLR. So the assumption can be made he has at least a couple of IS kit lenses to go with it.
That's why I suggested he get an EOS film body and his objective for a stabalized film SLR would be met.
I'll admit, most don't want to get rid of all their old junk, but at some point we must leave the Model-T behind and move on so we can progress and not stand in the past!!!
