Hi!!!
I am 80 years young, and started photography at about age 13. I created a small darkroom beneath the basement staircase, and my camera was an Argus C-3. Over the years I went through two Speed Graphics, an RB67 Mamiya, two Rolliflexs, and several
Nikons (the latest being the D-7l00). I have an assortment of lenses for the Nikon, but sold most of my camera collection, enlargers, and darkroom gear in preparation to move into a retirement facility. I was a staff photographer for the Michigan State
Daily News many years ago, and did considerable photography for my career job with a federal law enforcement agency. I am looking forward to this new website!
Welcome! You got me by a few years, but this is an Interesting site!

Welcome. I also started as a young teenager and have been involved in photography for over 70 years, including a stint with a small photo finishing shop when I was in high school. You will meet all sorts here, pros, advanced amateurs, beginners, self-styled experts and some nasty people (fortunately they are outnumbered by the mostly nice people you will meet here).

Welcome! Looking forward to your posts and pictures. Happy shooting!
