So many of my friends and family have told me to visit San Antonio and check the river. I hope someday I will.
Very nice photos btw!

I visited San Antonio in 1991 with the Brookhaven Choral Society to sing at a TCDA Convention. In my free time I went to the Riverwalk and walked all the way to the dam. My pictures of that walk are here:

Between Christmas and New Year's Day we treated some out of town guests to a 1-day visit to San Antonio. With the driving time of 3 hours each way and spending about 8 hours there, it was a long day. But it was also an enjoyable day, and to top it off, I was able to capture some photos that I was pleased with. So here are but a few of the images that I was able to bring back from the Alamo City. Comments welcomed and I hope you enjoy.

PS: All photos hand held.

I believe part of an older Steve McQueen movie - "Runaway" was shot on that San Antonio River Walk. It looks like a beautiful place.

Very nice photos. I've been there and you did a good job getting the flavor of the place. (No Alamo shots?)

Thank you so much David for taking a look and commenting. Well, yes we did visit the Alamo along with 1000's of other folks. With schools closed and many people on vacation, it was mobbed. Not conducive for good shooting.

Very good set. My daughter went there for an education conference a few years ago. She thought it was a beautiful city.

Thank you very much Dennis, glad you enjoyed these. San Antonio is an attractive city, much more tourist friendly than Houston.
