What strikes me immediately is how this could so easily be any group of young, restless and energetic boys anywhere in the world...just take the picture already so we can go back to playing!
Their being physically constrained by the walls and railings adds to the feeling of mutiny at any moment

Actually, you've reminded me of a photo I posted quite awhile ago of 3 groups of turkeys in one image. I asked folks if they identified with any, per their years in school (such as leader, follower, troublemaker, shy or outgoing and so forth). Fun!

Good shot ~ Could be anywhere.
I think the kid in the center is the class bully; look how the kid next to him to the right in the orange shirt is looking at him. He is standing alone no one close to him like the others are shoulder to shoulder; nope he is the class tuff guy.

The varied expressions are priceless. The boy in the center camera left obviously seems like he should be the fellow to steal this show. The boy in center camera right seems to have some thoughts about the first boy's ostentation. This is a photo I could spend a lot of time studying. Very effective.
