An annual event held in Melton Mowbray church over six days, last year it raised £23,000.00. I was a bit out of my depth as I usually only shoot in daylight but thought It would be of interest to all you on the hog.

Great photos. The Church is impressive even without the trees.
It seems like a worthwhile event. Do you collect from people viewing or do they sell the trees?

Thanks for looking,they only charge £2. ( think that's about 2 dollars now) entrance fee.

Interesting place and event. Very nice.
Next time, bring a small tripod and shoot without flash, or while on the tripod, just lower the flash exposure to where you balance the background with the flash to bring out the lights and not make the closeup objects so bright.

A unique event. very interesting. and you did a very good job with the windows. I find stained glass difficult to shoot, but you did it very well.
